What is the IGNITE Conference?
Emerson Ecologics launched the IGNITE program in 2014 based on feedback from our customers who expressed a desire for additional tools and resources to support them as they build and grow their integrative health practices. Through continued conversation, a number of key challenges were expressed as being hurdles to achieving practice success. In 2014, we took steps to address one of the largest challenges identified — finding NEW patients. In 2015, we expanded the IGNITE program to solve a wider range of the challenges that were expressed, through an interactive, one-of-a-kind conference focused on giving practitioners the strong business foundation needed to build, grow and streamline an integrative practice. Due to the overwhelming success of our inaugural event, we are excited announce the details of our 2016 conference!
What is the IGNITE Conference 2016?
Our second annual IGNITE Conference will address the top business challenges integrative practitioners face when trying to balance their passion for healing with the strong business knowledge needed to build and grow a successful practice.
This conference will be the “get it done” event where practitioners will receive actionable business insights during breakout sessions focused on 4 key topic areas or tracks. Breakout sessions will be followed with an interactive workshop, where attendees will put the strategies learned into a plan they can implement on Monday morning. Practitioners will walk away with essential projects completed, an action plan in hand and a community of partners, peers and experts they can count on.
In addition to the sessions and workshops, the event will feature keynote presentations from nationally renowned clinical leaders who will be sharing exciting insight on key business topics. There will also be a number of unique peer networking opportunities as well as time for in-depth conversations with some the most trusted professional supplement, vitamin, prescription medication and natural health product brands carried by Emerson Ecologics.
The event is designed for maximum interaction and take-away. We understand you have many choices when deciding which events and conferences to attend and want to make sure the time spent is valuable.
What are the dates of the IGNITE Conference 2016?
The conference will start with a pre-conference session and networking event on Thursday, October 13 and end on Sunday, October 16, 2015. Please view the event schedule for the most up to date conference agenda.
Where is the IGNITE Conference 2016 taking place?
The 2016 conference will be held at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa in Santa Ana Pueblo, NM (25 minutes outside of Albuquerque.
Who attends the IGNITE Conference 2016?
IGNITE Conference 2016 will host integrative medicine practitioners from a range of specialties including Naturopaths, Chiropractors, Medical Doctors, Acupuncturists, Nutritionists, Nurse Practitioners and more. Additionally, the conference will welcome representatives from more than 20 of our most trusted professional supplement, vitamin, prescription medication and natural health product brands.

How do I register?
What registration options do I have and what does each include?
All tickets provide full conference access including; all sessions, workshops and keynote, event meals (breakfast and lunch on Friday and Saturday), social events, networking and more. We have the following ticket types available:

Early Bird rates will be available until August 8, 2016. After August 8, 2016, prices will increase by $100.
Can I register on-site?
Space for the conference is limited and expected to sell out. We suggest registering as far in advance as possible. We do not expect to sell tickets on-site at this time.
Can I register for individual sessions and not the entire conference?
At this time we are not offering the option to purchase tickets for individual sessions.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you must cancel for any reason, please notify us in writing via email to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than Friday, September 30, 2016 and we will refund you 50% of your registration fee. No refunds will be made after the above listed date for any reason. Transfers and substitutions are allowed. Transfer and substitution requests can also be submitted via email until Monday, October 10. There is no fee for transfers or substitutions.
What are the tracks and do I need to select them when I register?
This year we are offering 4 exciting topic tracks:
- OPERATIONS: Building an Operational Foundation for Success – Leandra Fishman
- PATIENT PROCESS: Overcoming Patient Process Roadblocks – Dan Kalish, DC
- MARKETING: Navigating the Marketing Maze – Miriam Zacharias, MS, LPSN; Julia Zaslow, NC
- FINANCE: Financial Business Smarts – Rebecca Hunton, MD
The tracks consist of 3 breakout sessions and 1 interactive workshop where you will put the strategies learned into an action plan. Tracks run concurrently on Friday and Saturday, allowing practitioners to attend 1 each day (2 total).
It is not required that you select your tracks at registration, but we strongly encourage you to do so. This will not only speed up the registration process and help us provide you a complete schedule when you arrive on-site, but will also help us gauge the popularity of the sessions so that we can be sure to accommodate the most popular topics in larger rooms.
What options do I have for payment of my registration fees?
Payments may be made online with a credit card, or you may mail in a check. Details can be found on the registration page at checkout.

What if I can’t afford the official hotel? Can you recommend an alternative nearby?

Can I purchase recordings of the IGNITE Conference 2016 sessions?
All sessions, excluding the interactive workshops, will be recorded and can be pre-purchased at a discounted rate during registration. Attendees may also choose to purchase after the conference by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org
Can I get copies of the session handouts and materials?
Yes, event attendees will be given access to electronic versions of the session handouts and materials. If you would like to print out these handouts, there is a booklet available to purchase or business center on-site. Materials will also be able to be downloaded online after the conference.
